EIMS was appointed as part of the panel of consultants to the City of Ekurhuleni to undertake a detailed wetland assessment of the Rietspruit, Kaalspruit and Reitvallei Catchment areas within the metropolitan area. The assignment included identification and design of suitable wetland rehabilitation interventions, including bill of quantities. The intention of the project is to improve wetland functionality within the catchments. EIMS was further responsible for undertaking the Environmental Impact Assessments and Water Use Licencing where relevant.
